MAS for Metal Ends
The company is currently developing and expanding its production lines
to also produce rectangular ends of different sizes for meat processing
purposes. New production lines will be installed for the manufacturing of easy
open ends of different sizes.
Al Akram for Metal Industries
The company is currently studying the possibility of installing new
productions lines due to the increasing demands on both internal and external
markets, but, again, because of the company's good reputation and the customers'
confidence.
MAS for Fertilizers
The company that is owned by Syrian MAS Economic Group, has got an
initial approval from the General Establishment of Geology to extract the
phosphate from Wadi Al Rakheem site (Homs) that has been allocated to MAS for
Fertilizers for a period of 50 years.
The company will produce TSP fertilizer.
It worth mentioning that MAS for Fertilizers has been incorporated under the
Investment Law No 8 for 2007, and is in the process of creating the first
private complex for phosphate fertilizers in Homs with a production capacity of
500,000 tons of TSP per year. The company is currently negotiating with the
World's largest companies that are specialized in building this type of
complexes.
"Tilal al Yasmin" – Progression of work
Covering works, i.e. soft and rough plaster, are still under execution
in the touristic part where more than 70% of the work has been performed so far.
As far as the organizational part is concerned, the construction and frameworks
continue at high frequency for all types of villas in the first three petals
where the foundations and basis were executed for most of these villas. 350 m3
of mass and reinforced concrete have been casted so far, and water isolation
works are under processing before the backfilling works start.
Reinforced concrete works of the supporting walls are still under execution at
the touristic part. The same applies to the walls that separate between the
villas.
The nice and moderate weather that prevails at this time of the year helps to
implement the construction works at the project site in a shorter time.
Project management
Mas for Investment is actually preparing for the
establishment of a special economic zone in Yaarubiyah to attract the Turkish
traders and manufacturers ,and turn the region into a trading zone that also
provides working opportunities to the residents there.

MAS Movie club launching on 19/1/2008:
MAS Economic Group has launched its private
movie club within its administrations.
The first meeting of the club took place in Barjees restaurant on Saturday January 19th, 2008.
